The song is the original English demo version "Endless Appetite" ("Unstillbare Gier") sung by Steve Barton, composed by Jim Steinman. The video is from the Vienna production of "Tanz der Vampire" with Steve Barton playing the role of the count.

@purplestar902 Sometimes they don't wear their fangs when they sing, 'cause they get in the way. Maybe the Count has retractable fangs? xD

He did a great job in this role. The first times I saw it it sent shivers down my spine!

This one here is definitely the Broadway version of the lyrics. The whole musical WAS SUPPOSED to be just a translation - so gar it just worked with some songs. So this one is a litteral translation, not exact the german lyrics.

Some say this is an accurate translation from German, some say it's not. I watched the Broadway version and this song has the same lyrics. Which is correct? What's considered the definitive translation?
