well done zundro, good swell and love fishing the ovens lol , is that an egg beater ? been hooking up to some monster groper up here on the central coast bloody heaps of em ,but been releasing em , good to see your doing well with the charters and stuff , have to catch up some time soon , all the best from davross .

This looks like the Ovens If it is then you dont have to keep it a secret. Its not easy to get to. If any one is interested in rock fishing then try Little Head too. Its on the other side of the Ovens. The Ovens is about a 2km walk on rocks from whale beach. Little head is easier to get to but the water isnt as deep and you will snag 3 times out of 5. You will still get monster drummer and good sized blacks. Early morning pillies will get you snapper and some kings too if youre lucky.

We were fishing with a professional guide, in big seas, but in an area sheltered from the swell. It may look dangerous but that is how it was edited. And in case anyone was wondering it is actually safer to stand on 1 foot when when the wave comes in. Less drag. Read and learn. Rock fishing is dangerous but not if you watch EVERY wave.
