Second:

How long have you been playing drums period.

It took me several years to play as good as i do now. But don't give up just yet.

It would be more helpful if you posted a video of you playing "That Thing You Do" so i can have a better idea where to help you make improvements as needed.

I'll admit, it's pretty good.

There's just some parts in it where you're rushing (mainly in your fills).

Don't hit the drums so hard...relax, play a little lighter, and it'll sound a lot better.
