  • wow some of these old sims were boring when you play them down. I used to love gunship 2000 amiga 500 played it again recently after i found my old barely working amiga in my dads shed. and almost fell asleep on the way to targets lol this looks the same kind of thing

  • Well.

    I'm still not convinced.

The refresh rate is not better than 1 frame every 3 or 4 VBLs, so sorry I'm not impressed.

    Aldebaran is more technically impressive.

    Or Darkwood.

Too many programmers on the Archimedes thought they were good but were only 'average'.

  • Aldebaran doesn't represent a like for like comparison. It's a space game. All polys can be concentrated on the models rather than environment + models.

Bear in mind, Chopper Force runs shit hot on a slow rig. I know the programmer who regularly used to wank over how fast his 3D code was. He used to waffle on about how much faster than rival code it was.. because it was.

No offense but as I said, you really don't know what you're talking about.

  • No, I mean it.

Have a look at Aldebaran to see what you can really get.

    No offense, it's just facts.

  • You don't know what you're talking about.

  • The flight model was weird!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Another classic, thanks dude!

  • This was an EPIC game. So much cooler after we hacked it and got all the cheats

  • Never mind the limo... I used to shoot at the sheep till they jumped 60 ft in the air.

  • The funny thin is that in fact it could have been 60 frames per second, had it be properly coded.
