New Xbox 360 controller silver broken into 45 hours of gameplay

I bought a silver handle and 6 days in the cross directional is broken. after 4 days approximately 30 hours of play, the chrome portion of the Cross is crumbling and 2 days later 15 hours later the cross moved my fingers. I called Microsoft and they say that it took about 10 days to receive a new one.

I do not recommend buying this controller.

put some glue on it so it'll never come off again

this happened to me, i had mine less than a year, and the transforming portion broke. I hardly ever use it!

I bought mine last year and it just broke on me today. Same place. And I'm not rough on them either. Must be a bad batch.

I have the mw3 version of that controller and I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty rough on my controller and the d-pad is like it came...maybe you just got a bad one
