(Drums, Bass, Guitar, Vocals and/or Guitar)

Electronic producer = 3 - 10 instruments at one time, 1 or 2 people controlling them. (1 2 or 3 synthesizers - modular, keyboard or digital or all three, drum machine, sequencer, kaos pad, mixer, cd deck/ vinyl deck, Digital software)

Im not saying Rock Bands are easier, nor This harder.

Just shut up dude, i realize you're trying hard to articulate and convey a point you think is sharp enough to bring to youtube but trust me..as a fan among fans of electronic music we see it/love it from and for a different angle. You obviously aren't connecting with what draws us to this sound. Most of the music does the talking for itself but if you're too unfamiliar to realize what's going on under the hood at a show with producers emoting on gear, keep it to yourself.

@MrBobbymcBobbers I think that a large part of music is the emotions conveyed through it and how the artist interacts with the listener. For example, in any punk, indie, ska, etc. album you can tell how the artist was feeling when they recorded it. If they were sad you can tell through the music, if they were happy you can tell through the music. With electronic music though you can't convey emotions since it is practically impossible to convey emotions through clicking buttons on a computer.

@YGranddaddy First, I don't find video games very fun, I think for the most part they are a waste of time (just like this"music") Second, I don't listen to rock, I listen to punk and punk has probably the least amount of computer generated bullshit of all musical genres. Also I never said that music that has some computer generated parts in it is bad, but when the whole song is made by a computer and not a human being that's when it becomes horrible.

@MrBobbymcBobbers a video game's generated by a computer...usually not boring....most things generated by computer are actually not boring...if you tried making a video game without a computer it would be a board game..now that's boring....most "rock" these days is half computer generated and half user generated sounds with instruments...i guess that says a lot about music these days...and how boring it all is..and how boring the majority of interactions in life are...because a computer made it.
