An interesting note: When Chitty Chitty Bang Bang drives over the cliff in the film, and then begins to fly, the Beachy Head Lighthouse there in Eastbourne, Sussex appears in the right background. Of course it's a filmography effect, but someone did fly over it in real life to film it. Thanks for filming this. Glad to know the light is still there!

Just to the west are the Seven sisters cliffs too, or six and a half now as one fell a few years ago:) You can walk along the cliffs all the way to Brighton too. Beautiful countryside.
