United Nations Independent Expert on the Human Right to Water and Sanitation Catarina de Albuquerque shares her recommendations for the United States government after her mission in February and March 2011. Her findings focused on five main issues: non-discrimination, affordability, safety/quality, indigenous peoples, and official development assistance. She calls upon the U.S. to focus on access to water for the most "hidden and poorest segments of the population."
