These are various scenes taken along the East entrance road heading into Yellowstone. The town of Cody is to the east, and we are driving west. The park is closed to wheeled traffic this time off year, so this drive was just a scenic trip. The lake is the impoundment behind buffalo bill dam. The ice was very thick. We stopped and i walked down to the water. there were some guys ice fishing. Much of the ice was clear and flawless, which was very cool.
