@ApprenticeOfAnubis we should still embrace our native roots even if we are mestizos.

right on my brother. our different tribes betrayed one another for a promise of a better tomorrow only to be betrayed themselves. the same thing happened to the Africans in Africa. i despise is the fact that they forced their religion on us through torture. and its sad because even today most of our peoples still blindly follow a blue eyed blond haired jesus/god.thats why i hate "abrahamic"religions. they tried to eliminate us only to make us stronger. peace

@SupremeARA915 You are right to identify with your native side. Your first step, it seems to me, is to work for justice for those ancestors who besieged by drug runners and crooked gov.t Then get to know some of the ancestor traditions by reading books and asking questions. Though they are not completely factual I would also suggest reading Carlos Castenadas books of northern Mexican natives and their spirit traditions. They are eye openers. People need to unite! Good luck!!

@TheEnviroFriend If people still carry prejudices, still live on land that was Indian--well then they are still part of the problem--its ongoing. The whole continent is basically stolen goods. Very little restitution was made. Americans like you feel they weren't part of that theft--but by proxy you are. They moved out & we moved in--write your congressman to give back state lands & work for Indian issues. These issues are ongoing still effecting others. The skin issue "ok".

@SupremeARA915 its possible you mean that the tribal owners pay taxes. and thats possible but the actual people dont.

@SupremeARA915 I never said they were all savages, I was reffering to the dumb ones who cling to the past
i am mexican american, so yeah i am a mestizo, native american and spaniard, my grandpa is taraumara indian from norther mexico, my grandpa on my mom's side is huichol,my grandma is part navajo, yes i also have european blood in me, but why should iidentify with those who came and raped my great grandmothers giving me the european blood i carry in me now, but yeah we should all unite from alaska to south america, the reason our emopires fell because we fought each other instead of uniting
