Parents' Rally for Education Funding

On June 21, 2010, parents and students from school districts throughout Pennsylvania gathered in the Capitol to show their support for the Governor's education budget.

Participants spoke about the importance of funding for public schools, and the impact that budget cuts have had on their local districts. Governor Rendell and U.S. Senator Bob Casey also attended and spoke out in support of increased education funding.
