This video's really entertaining lol and pretty damn informative (I'm about to check out your others as well). But every time I look up videos about screaming techniques people seem to teach it in the context of being in a metal band when I'm more interested in implementing it in the way Chino Moreno or Maynard do. Is this basically the same technique or is there something different going on?

I'm not having any problems getting the sound down, I can do highs and lows pretty okay although perhaps a bit quiet but I'm having a REALLY fucking hard time pronouncing words. Am I doing something wrong?

@TheNudge1311 I would say it took me a good 3-4 months from grasping the concept of making the "grudge noise" into a "scream" to actually get it to sound above speech volume.
Then again, I learned false chord first so learning a completely different technique might have been just harder for me.

It's a bit confusing. When I was learning, I couldn't understand how to put that force/grit into it to make the "scream."
But after a month or so of doing the sound casually every day or so, I got a hang of it. Just put some time into it and you'll get it!
