LOLOLOL!!!!!!!! Not the Bruce LEE music!!!! I laughed so hard when that came on!! I like seeing how it's flipped around on the blind side. I'm actually trying to find a better way to flip it without almost losing it though. Can't tell you how many times that's happened to me.

@jkdkalisilat Thanks for the feed back... I have some LE experience as well, not any thing near 25 years however. I train defensive tactics for DOE security personnel, and we now use the force circle continuum too. I agree with the "special circumstances" the smaller weaker person is usually justified in using more force. I think a lot of people on YouTube think you cant just rip a bad guy apart with a blade without any legal backlash, clearly you understand use of force issues. Good work!

@yahzine20 not illegal at all, it's under 2.5-3inches.

is it illegal to carY?? i have one and the blade is only two inches.......

Thanks for the Chicka Wacka music too. Great vid. Karambits seem to be very effective and versatile defense blades.
At least from my no-experience point of view.

And the crazier and off-kilter you come across, the better. No one wants to be around a demented lunatic, not even a rapist or thief.

Yeah I think the trick is that you never stop fighting back. You keep kicking, hitting, screaming, clawing, and constantly looking for an escape.
Once you submit and shut down, you're toast.
I dont mean any direspect.. these are good moves however keep in mind even though you are deffending yourself these cuts will be looked at as deadly force and unless you can articulate that the attack against you was imminent deadly force you are probably going to go to jail for assualt with a deadly weapon or even murder. Your level of force/deffense can be the same level or 1 level above theirs. Remember there are 2 battles, the one on the street and the one in court after wards.

None taken Sharkman. I am actually a Sheriffs Officer for the last 25 years. The purpose of the videos are to show "flow" and how to put moves together. Once the threat is over then you stop. Thats the rule of thumb as far as legality goes as with "special circumstances" meaning if a 5'1" 100 pound woman is attacked by a 6"5" 300 male. Can she use a blade to defend. The answer would be yes in this case. What you refer to as using 1 level of force above theres......

pt 2 to Sharkman... Is what we used to call the "Ladder od Force" That is now outdated and now we use "The circle of force" which means special circumstances will allow a person to esculate above just 1 level. Thats straight from the AG office on use of force..Thanks for your comment

I don't mean to be disrespectful but ,I have some serious doubts about these techniques, It might be practical if the Karambit is already in hand , however a lot of people don't take clothing into consideration, and any smaller person attacked from behind will be grabbed and lifted off their feet. no larger aggressor will just grab her and wait for something to happen.

No disrespect taken. A good question. Think of the attacker lifting her off her feet from behind. By lifting her it will put her feet closer to his groin area where she can kick him with her heal. That should loosen his grip and bring her back to the ground. The object of all these techniques is to fight to get to the karambit to deploy. The start of every move is a empty hand technique. Either pinning, striking ect. Thanks for you opinion. I hope this shed some light on the praticality.
