Liebermann Piccolo Concerto - 1st movement

Lowell Libermann's Concerto for Piccolo, Op. 50 - 1st movement (Andante Comodo, Allegro)

perhaps the most colorful and expressive solo work for piccolo out there, not to mention bloody difficult... I spent about a year of intense practice on this piece to survive the 138 measures without rest AND the beastly high F# at the end.

Performed by Nicholas Goodwin (piccolo) and Beverly Soll (piano) on March 21, 2010 for the Northshore Youth Symphony Orchestra Honors Chamber Music concert at the Firehouse Center for the Arts in Newburyport, MA.

Very good piccolo work. It's SO HARD to actually get a piccolo to sound good. I've tried. Can other listeners post a comment on how they thought this performance was too? I'm curious to see what other people think of this.

I'm glad you enjoyed my performance, but there are much better recordings of this on youtube, I'm no professional...but I'm pretty sure anyone can watch/post comments to this, I have all my videos on the 'public' setting, so any other comments/constructive criticism would be appreciated :)
