The Rolling Stones - Roll Over Beethoven - 33 1/3 RPM

Heres a real rare item. The Cops and Robbers EP is a bootleg album featuring 4 unreleased Rolling Stones songs mostly recorded from BBC radio recordings. It is on a 7" coloured orange vinyl at 33 1/3 RPM. The track heard here is Roll Over Beethoven, another Chuck Berry song also popularized by the Beatles.

nah, not better than the beatles, faster doesn't mean better, but if you want faster and harder-rocking beatles, forget the studio albums in their mop tops era, check out their live stuff, they are amazing live. search for the hamburg 1962 live recording of this one by the beatles, or melbourne in 64, or hollywood bowl 64... the beatles loved to play rock and roll covers

@ColdHeartedMan86 The Beatles are better thn the Stones and I don't care if they outlasted the fab four as a band, the fab four's music is imortal, universal and thier music will be around for a long even after I'm dead. I like both bands but the Beatles I listen more.

i read about this. I have the CD...and I also read somewhere that this was done by recording the TV and the Radio at the same time, a unique way of making a "Stereo" mix!

@ramses4321 Not quite true! The white kids loved Chuck Berry, it was their parents that were the drag, I know because I was there, Little Richard, Fats Dominoe all were listened to by the kids of the late fifties and early sixties!!!
