  • Slade have no connection with The Sweet other than they were both successful rock bands from the same era.

  • SLADE OR SWEET? WHO IS BETER?

  • They are both great bands. It's a silly question. Matter of taste.

  • I love Slade.

  • i think noddy should tour again.

millions want it and it would be nice of him to give up a bit of time to repay all the fans who still think there the best band ever.

all the other big bands do it.

  • @proslade I DONT THINK SLADE WERE GLAM ROCK JUST DAVE. TREX SWEET THEN PERVY GLITTER WERE GLAM SLADE WERE JUST PURE ROCK AND ROLL GREAT MUSIC ACROSS MANY DIVIDES LONG LIV E THE SOUNDS OF SLADE

Sweet were just a 'Glam' band, Slade were the most versatile band ever, with a misleading 'Glam' image, that is the diffrenece, but it s a matter of taste I suppose, too.

  • I had (still do) all the slade records on vinyl (look it up kids!) in school my mates called my Slade LOL!

their songs are still awesome and great musicians - i recommend slade in flame cd album pure awesomeness !!

  • I believe you mean "Brickyard Blues" (aka Play Something Sweet). Brickhouse blues is something else...
