I saw Avatar at Christmas time on Satellite TV, they thought to premiere it on New Year's Eve. So I sat and watched James Cameron's 300 mill "masterpiece" and I was filled with ennui, everything just seemed far too predictable. I will give them points for the very beautifully crafted environment and ecosystem, but this alone cannot make it the spectacle it was claimed to be. Just shows how good marketing can convolute the masses into whatever they want to sell. Felt like the art of Damian Hirst.

300 million, when most of the movie is animated. so what did they do with the other 250 million

The story was actually pretty good, I mean star crossed love. Its like a futuristic romeo and juliet full of halo creatures and action sequences behind imagination! Yes the general shows everyone hes a complete hardass, cause he is, thats his character. A hardass general gone insane with his drive to never lose. personally, I thought the movie was interesting and i give it 10/10.

Agreed! This movie was so bad I puked in the theater. It just goes to show you how little intelligence the movie going public has. Special effects alone do not make for a good movie.

can you please review legion, and can you try to do a movie review every week, also? PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
EE, you are my favorite film critic on youtube, besides myself (LOL, but I'm serious) -
jimmy, block these Fucking Spammers
no offense, but you are a cynical douchebag. i cant believe you hated it so much. this movie borrows a plot structure from dozens of movies... but guess what ALL movies do the same thing. District 9 lifted Alien Nation & the Fly and made a great story... did you hate that as well, or should i ask, how much did you hate that movie?

I admire avatar for it's technical breakthroughs, I don't hate it. District 9 is, maybe, my favorite film of the year.

2d i decided that if it had to impress me in the traditional sence is i was ever going to like it in 3d. i still might c it in 3d anyway though just 4 the spectacle
