Still broadcasting his ignorance from the small shack with ugly walls and furniture. His shirt looks like it came from the set of "Saturday Night Fever" or "Urban Cowboy".

Just the type of idiotic talent Europac would employ.

  • I'm actually writing up a summary of a recent study that used Ketamine on Heroin addicts to cure them. It seems to have been a success.

Which makes me wonder--could we use psychedelics to cure Pento and his ilk of their delusional "gold-standard" fantasies?

I would like to see that study ASAP.

  • @heckler73

using ketamine on heroin addicts.....? sounds innovative.... how does it work?

  • I think someone sent him an email about the toilet shot.

  • @dsglop

looking at his face is worse than looking at his toilet.

  • Or maybe he could be an extra mob lackey on going out night in Good Fellas.

  • @heckler73 (con't)

The name of the study is:

Ketamine psychotherapy for heroin addiction: immediate effects and two-year follow-up (2002)

Evgeny Krupitsky . Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment. 23(4):273-283.

He also did treatments on alcoholics (these all were done in Russia, mind you. I don't know if the results would be comparable in North America, but it certainly is worth further exploration IMO). The results definitely seem better than the LSD and DPT studies I've seen.

  • @SchittReport The therapists "guided" subjects, who were detoxified prior to the session, with 2mg/kg I.V. of Ketamine, and just encouraged them throughout the session to analyze why they were using heroin. There was post-treatment counseling as well. After 3 months, 50% of the subjects relapsed, but after 24 months about 20%+ were still clean. It may have been better, they suggest, if they did follow-up sessions. Nevertheless, that is rather impressive (there's more to the study though.)
