Shawn's Heart Transplant Part 3

Shawn's heart transplant July 31, 2008...our 10 year old son waited 2 years, 3 months and 17 days for a heart transplant near Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford. He received his heart July 31, 2008, this is a video of his recovery and some of the complications that he has faced along the way.

thought this video was amazing, my aunt had lung cancer but thanks to my small towns amazing support and dedication to our family she was able to get a new lung, unfortunatly she died shortly afterwards due to other illnesses, but im very proud of your son who has the strength to pull through this! i hope he lives to be 100 and lives every day happily!

I was suppose to go see a heart transplant specialist or someone, to see if I'm eligiable to have a heart transplant, but I was scared of the risks so I didn't go but I just a open heart surgery and my doc said my heart is fine now, all I need now is to take meds for the rest of my life. I hope Shawn will live happily with his new heart though :] i'm happy that he survived that major surgery even though he had to go through so much with it, he was still able to go home ^_^

I was at Lucile Packard the same time he was I hope he's doing well. He always looked tired when I saw him. I remember the clown also he was pretty cool he gave me a clown nose lol. Anyways good luck with the rest of your life an I hope you and your family are doing well.
