@sarahjay369 Love, that was the princess Diaries 2. It was Nicholas off to save the day by pronouncing he did not want to be king so that Princess Mia (Anne Hathaway - who is also in this movie) could be Queen. That was also an amazing movie, but unlike in that, unfortunately Jane does not end out with Tom - as this was a real life story - where Jane Austen remained a spinster all her life. Easy to confuse the two movies, I'm sure.

AHHH! It's sad! They didn't end up together but overall the movie was absolutely beautiful! One of my favorite classical movies! It was stunning and sweet. :) I love it! I was into it the whole movie and then the end made me cry so much! ;'(...I wanted a happier ending! I love this movie but also hate the ending. It's too sad.

I really dont, I only know the ending when he sees her when they are old.. I think you are confused with another movie.
