  • @SharpSpears you have beautifull hands

  • @SharpSpears My grip actually has deformations were the top of the steel bar contacts the steel liners. I've stood on the lock of my grip, bounced a bit it the lock works fine. A little up and down play but nothing serious, spine-whacks don't do anything, etc.

  • @UDflyer04 What do you mean break? In actuality you can only break the axis lock if you either bend the steel bar, or deform the liners to a point where the blade comes out. If one springs breaks, the other will still engage the lock. If both break, you can actually jam a piece of wood behind the bar and the bar will still lock the knife just as solid.

I only put lube on the bushings. There really is not need to lube the tang of the blade (even though it does come in contact with the lock).

  • @SharpSpears

hey does the axis lock break like an automatic knife would since there are springs in there?

also do you put any lube in the axis lock or just the pivot screw?

    thanks

  • Nice review, thanks!

  • great review...getting one in a week, thanks
