Hey everyone,
Long time no see!
Our situation recently has been a disaster for TDES and the show is more behind than it
has ever been : (
But things are looking up - we have found a great situation
to be able to WWOOF and produce TDES : )
Thank you for your patience.
(Also, the studio has changed and now the lighting is slightly off again.
We're working on it.)

Intro: About communication - ask questions.

Stick News: Andrew Keen's book - "The Cult of the Amateur: How Today's Internet is Killing our Culture."

  • i dont understand the second part of the video her thoughts dont seem to be connected it seems like shes just blurting out random fragments of thought she emphasizes her words a lot she seems to be struggling to speak she has a hat collection

  • Sarah, I leave the questions recommended in the show about communication for another time. Today the answer is: all of us are very happy seeing you again. Horay, Horay, Horay.

  • Where have you been?

  • Keane has a point. People take half-knowledge and half-wits to extreme ego trips or personal agendas. I think discussion and passing on of information is a good thing. But people should stay aware, that they're not experts and that they're not talking to experts (usually). The internet doesn't replace in-depth research and study. It's tempting to get lost in a lot of issues on a very shallow level. (attention span anyone?)

  • Sarah I met a guy this weekend from New Zeland. he was hiking the PCT. Do you like to hike? I asked a question:) poor guy on stick news, I feel sorry for him.

  • I think this excellent advice, and right on the mark. Particularlly in Japan. I didnt notice it so much when I talk to european or south american non native speakers.
