Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Giant Spiders, Shapeshifters and Sorcerers. Well you know there are people who actually like/love the books and as much imagination as they might have do not recall ricky martin look alikes in it. Fact is changes were made to suit the market hollywood sells and have notting to do with FINE ART. Fact is only connection between the hobbit and lotr is bilbos ring. The hobbit is a fun book for children, that opens into an adventure and danger from the comfort of no adventure or danger. Read the book and tell me its a good film.

well you know there actually are people that like this movie and if you dont fine than your just another incredible stupid person who does not value art. the directors and producers dont want to be better than tolkien they just expressed their point of view and how they imagined the book and showed it to us. and the movie actually should link up to lord of the rings, just by the way

worst film i have ever seen. Every scene is the same, every back ground is the same, every part of the film is the same as lord of the rings. Its amazing that people who claim to like tolkien are people who abuse his work. Do they claim to write as good as him? or better? Do they think they improve it? Newzealanders should stick to jumping off cliffs if this is what they offer. Wiping my bum with the pages would have been more fun.
