  • how do you extract the elements?

  • Using for example Photoshop, by selecting different elements (for ex. with the Quick Selection or Magic Want tool), cut them and paste them in different layers.. Later you can import the Photoshop file into After Effects and move the the different layers in the 3D-space.

  • Awesome video! =D

But what did you do between steps 3 and 4 to make the ground look in place?

    thx

  • To make the ground look in place I rotated the separate elements slightly and maked sure the edges of the separate elements are connected.

  • nice man where do you go for tuts?

  • Thanks! I usually go to VideoCopilot (see also the description of the video for a link)

  • New Photoshop CS5 can do this much better but this is pretty good for 2008.

  • Werkt dit op alle after effects versies?

  • that was supposed to be a tutorial? LMAO you are just trying to get people to view your lame video you suck...!!!...

  • very god

  • How did you do the ground? I'm having trouble aligning the ground. I've separated the ground into 2 parts. when I move the camera, they don't really match up.

  • yeah, the effect is called parallax, really useful to create realistic movements in backgronds

  • @IdioticAddiction or at least the name of the song?

  • can I get this music somewhere?
