The Lovin Spoonfuls were also on Kama Sutra. Innocence had a song called a Lifetime lovin you but i cant find it. I had the 45 RPM

Kama Sutra was a somewhat big label in the 60's and early 70's with some association with Buddah records and distributed the British Charisma label for awhile. The label was swallowed up by Arista in the mid to late 70's.

Grah! Damn these people wrecking the song! You're supposed to sing it with a 'tick irish accent so you can barely understand the words. Otherwise it's not a clever song at all. The entire point of the song is that it sounds like it's in some cooky gaelic lingo when in fact it's just completely conventional english, but when you sing it slowly and clearly in a crisp north american accent, IT LOSES ALL APPEAL!

I just found this online. My Dad who passed in 1979 usto sing this song all the time and it has brought back some very happy memories!

@Bucketheadcheese No, it's a type of pie made with white cheddar and broccoli.
YES, it's a record label. What else would it be?!

I think these lyrics are referenced a lot on M*A*S*H lol.

This song was a BIG hit for a group called the Merry Macs in 1944, & has been a perennial favorite ever since. Hard to keep from gettin' a big, silly grin on yr face when you hear it...
