I'm not a big fan of the whole symbiote saga and Venom, neither in the comic books, tv shows and especially not in the movie, but hey, it's very popular enough for me to make a video out of it. Spectacular Spider-Man has done a great version of the symbiote, better than the 90s cartoon? Hard to say.

The song is called "What I've Done" by Linkin Park.

  • @44excalibur It's so that they can give him the (in)famous black suit and get him back to his R&B costume and introduce Venom ASAP.

  • @nikir8977 I believe it is Episode 11.

  • @1993MovieMan The "symbiotes need adrenaline to survive" thing was a retcon that was implemented alongside the "Eddie has cancer" retcon and has been discarded and/or forgotten around the time Angelo Fortuna became Venom II, because it hasn't been mentioned since. The current stance is that while Eddie was bonded to it the symbiote suppressed his cancer to keep him alive, and that it eventually developed a taste for human flesh that Eddie Brock was loathe to sate and Mac Gargan all too eager to.

  • @1993MovieMan Brock's view of innocence was highly subjective, but he considered himself a hero - and it was his cell time with Cletus Kasady that gave him the Lethal Protector idea. While Brock was responsible for the Venom symbiote's descent into evil, it certainly embraced the "We'll eat your brain!" shtick for all it's worth. And in Eddie's defence, it's not like a pissed-off lovesick carnivorous alien parasite is good for your sanity. He would have killed himself had it not bonded to him.

  • @1993MovieMan The developers stated he had a death wish, and while he certainly was selfish I wouldn't call him a sociopath until the symbiote (which was definitely evil in this incarnation) bonded to him.

  • @Sh4d0wKat How we react to adversity shows our true character ! Even on SSM , Brock was a selfish sociopath hiding behind a friendly facade ! His reckless endangerment of MJ on their " motorcycle date " demonstrates that fact perfectly !

  • @Sh4d0wKat Exactly , Brock and Kasady corrupted the symbiote , not the other way around ! That`s why later comic writers trying to paint the selfish , vengeful sociopath Brock as this great " defender of the innocent " pisses me off so much !

  • @1993MovieMan Cletus Kasady and the Carnage symbiote are a special case, as their bond is so extensive they are more or less one being with Kasady's mind dominating the symbiote's. Even when bonded to someone else, the Carnage symbiote forces its host to kill indiscriminately, as shown by Ben Reilly in the comics and Tanis Neives stint as She-Carnage.
