Here's a Kroger Extreme Couponing shopping trip. I was able to pick up organic milk, juice, and some snacks along with body wash for only $0.27. Grand savings over over $98.
Head to my blog for the coupons I used along with instructions on how a Mega Event works:

  • what kind oif body wash did you get an were the coupons 2 dollars off im confused please help

  • @brokendolltoplaywith

If you check the description box you can always find a link to my blog with all of the shopping trip information. Also, these deals were done three months ago- they can't be done anymore.

  • do you do multiple transactions?

  • @elizabethYtorres

In this shopping trip I think I only did one, however, sometimes I may split up my items into a couple transactions...nothing crazy though.

  • most krogers only double up to .50 and they now limit you to 2 like coupons per transaction. they have changed their policies in most states to reflect this. They also do not give you overage or apply it to your order in most states.this kind of couponing does not work in every state. It varies from store to store .

  • @snowbear

And also, the 'overage' I'm referring to here from the Mega Event sale is explained on my blog (there's a link in the description). Also the coupon policy clearly states they will give you cash back or overage for my region. This kind of couponing certainly does work at any Kroger, don't be discouraged. By the way, only 1 coupon in this entire transaction was doubled. :)

  • 2.89 for milk not on sale I wish lol its like 4.69 regular price for a gallon here in canada at walmart

  • Meijers keeps any overage on coupons for themselves when they send in your coupon!!

They will type in the face value only. Everyone be aware of them!!

  • I need to check out your blog cause the most I've saved on a trip is $21.

  • good, she is donating instead of having them buildup on her shelf for no reason. honestly, extreme couponers just buy items in bulk because they can..... what a waste!

this is a great buy though, !

  • this why the economy is bad

  • Good job!

  • ok the area I am in is WV(middle of wv) and my store only limits 2 like coupons per transaction.anything over 50 cents they only redeem at face value.they dont triple in my area.I have the coupon policy for my area and as with all policies it is up to each individual store on what they want to limit

  • @snowbear

There are 8 different Kroger regions. They each have different rules of doubling. Mine, for instance, doubles up to $0.50 and triples up to $0.39, but only doubles or triples 3-like coupons per transaction. Others may double up to $0.50 or even up to $0.99 with unlimited per transaction. I have not heard of any region limiting you to two like coupons at all. I have the most current Kroger policy for the Southwest region, which does not state this.

  • @lancomevegas

they were from the sunday newspaper. I bought multiple papers that week.

  • where do you get your coupons like for all those Nivea body washes

  • @spieldose

It depends on your state tax laws.

  • Does it just depend on where you live where they will coupons AFTER tax? Or am I doing my couponing wrong?

  • @lynncrum Lol I look back up and it says TN (LOL) sorry haha

  • @lynncrum Wow we pay less than that ($4.00+) for organic milk in az. Regular milk has been 1.89 gal at the lowest and normally just around 3. Weird cuz I know I am in cattle country but would think you all have it better in TX! Odd

  • Great Haul...thank you for sharing!

  • @amcr420williams

Nope, only in the Houston and surrounding area. The Dallas area still doubles/triples luckily!

  • @lynncrum

I'm glad to hear that, I hate when people say they can't save money because their stores don't double. You can still save a ton! :)

  • I thought kroger stopped doubling & tripling in all of texas. I know that they stopped in the beaumont & houston areas. either way great job.

  • Yes, and we have NO stores that double coupons...NONE! But, Im an EXTREME couponer and have some pretty large hauls considering.
