Starting Nursing School: Get Organized!

Just wanted to share some ways that I stay organized. I realized after i recorded this that I don't really give any PC options (although Evernote works with everything) so here it goes...I hear that google calendar words pretty well..Microsoft onenote is similar to evernote, but it is not free. Nitro PDF reader is similar to Preview. I have not used it and it is free (Windows only). Just leave a comment if you need me to clarify anything.

I had an Ipad..returned it b/c of Flash not being on there... but I am starting school in the spring and you have seriously made me reconsider the type of tablet I want to use... I am enjoying your vids... very knowledgeable and the system you use to organize does seem to be more efficient than caring around a lot of paper....great vid!

@mcqueen2681 Thank you! For some people not having flash is a deal breaker, you just have to choose what's right for you. I love my iPad and my favorite app (for school) is PDF expert. Everyone else is printing off a TON of powerpoint slides and I just keep it light with my iPad lol. I don't think they have an android app, but I'm sure you can find something similar.

Thank you so much!! I was making flashcards last night and it was a HUGE stack! Now I can keep it all in my ipod touch :D.

I had tried evernote before and didn't like it all that much, but now that I'm in college its sounding like a really good idea!

@ayuinu no problemo. I don't use evernote as much as I did first semester because I'm taking my notes on powerpoint handouts (I save as PDF and use PDF expert...one of my favs). but its still great for organization

@juliannehola We use PDFs too, maybe I should use that instead of evernote.

@ayuinu I definitely use PDF expert way more. (this video was recored before I started using it). I think I paid $10 and normally I would never pay that much for an app, but it is COMPLETELY worth it. I have it synced with dropbox so I can see my notes-and make changes- on any computer. Lately, i've been using evernote to keep any handouts or written notes i scanned organized (thank to tags)
