Hermione is stunted by Ron and Harry when they won't let her come with them to battle. She's furious, so she does the unthinkable. After returning she's changed. Ron and Harry both notice at the ball. She seems more confidant and strong-willed.
Later, Harry and Ron are talking about when they and the DA are going to strike, and Hermione listens in, only to relay the message to The Dark Lord.
After she returns, Harry and Ron are starting to get suspicious. They question her but she's confidant that they dont know anything.
The next day, for a brief training session, Hermione and Ron are practicing stunning, when she HURLS him across the room. After regaining his composure, he tells Fred and George of his concern that she's been up to something to make her stronger.
Later that day, the DA meet up on the bridge to get ready to strike. Hermione follows them anyway, and rather than fight with her, Harry lets her come with.
When they reach where they're going to fight, an unexpected stranger drops in, and Hermione shows her true colors.

Yes I did extend the song, it needed to be longer.
