parents dont realize that spanking and hitting kids hurts them not physically but mentally it makes kids think hitting is okay and makes them believe that because you hit them that they can hit others as well. This is speaking from an actually13 year old that was spanked as a little girl.

The war against spanking by liberals is another attack on the family and family values. Sensible citizens need to get active in local and national politics to stop the insanity (overspending, illegal immigration, government control of healthcare (Obamacare), funding of abortion, high gas prices, high taxes, class warfare, over regulation by unelected bureaucrats, judges that don't follow the Constitution, and other problems. Find a local tea party and go to a meeting.

Honestly, there are SOO many better, more effective ways of disciplining kids than spanking or raising your voice. Time-out, taking away privileges like T.V. or desert, making them go to bed early. There is NO need whatsoever to use physical intimidation or to scare your child. That doesn't make them respect you. Respect is something that you EARN, not force onto someone, even if that someone is your child.

yea you shouldnt spank a kid for blowing a whistle but if theyre doing something wrong like breaking for example your tv or something expensive THAT MEANS SPANK EM THEY NEED DISAPLIN thats why most kids now days are out of control is because they not displined
