The musical saw aka the "singing saw" has been a favorite of ours since seeing the french motion picture, "Delicatessen." So when Sam said she sometimes performs with a saw player we were thrilled. Little did we know that the musical saw player was the famous film director, Jeremy Konner, co-creator of Funny or Die's "Drunk History" series, officially making him a double-threat - as he's also self-taught master of the singing saw. They were originally going to perform Cole Porter's "I Love Paris", but instead performed Konner's original composition, "The History of You". I've listened to this song about a hundred times and I still don't know what it means, but I love it and I play it for our baby boy when he breastfeeds, as should you. To our knowledge, this is the only recording of the song in existence. Enjoy!
