Piada is the brainchild of three italian friends - Andrea, Daniele & Giovanni - who decided to bring to the United States this specialty food that is very popular in northern Italy. It's a modern cafe that's nestle underneath the Citi-Group building in Midtown New York. Alexi Panos shares how the architects creatively designed an atmosphere which is pretty modern with a quick "grab and go" feeling. love this place. and the fact that they sell salted caramel macaroons by danny macaroons, which are easily the best macaroons i've ever had.
