hey what was your suspension setup running this, its my first time running it this year and right now im running super stiff track suspension. please comment, i cant find anyone who knows what ballpark a racebikes suspension should be in everyone who ive talked to just runs a ktm. my suspension is basically the same as yours.
My setup is done for 200# intermediate (Vet B) woods riding @Reiter in Gold Bar by Motopro in Woodinville. There aren't any jumps, just 95% whoops. My setup is def softer than stock, but sprung for my weight. So I guess it depends on how fast you are and how much you like whoops. :)
well i am set up for B class motocross, it was valved stiffer but without the harsh midstroke. i ride at walker when im not racing and its horrid there, everyone who rides it says its like riding a bmx bike with no suspension when you are going slow, but it handles whoops perfectly at 3rd-top speed. im worried about it knifing off the rocks really bad. did you have a problem with that or is your suspension plush enough to absorb the random rocks that you hit at high speed?
Just rode Walker Saturday, love that place. If you've got the endurance to ride fast, you'll probably be fine, otherwise I'd soften it. There are only a few places with rocks, that I remember, especially as compared with Walker and Reiter...

Thanks, yep good guess on the bike. The trail isn't really marked, but is pretty obvious. I haven't done the race, so can't comment on it.
