65th anniversary of Dresden bombing

The bombing of Dresden in February 1945 has remained one of the more controversial aspects of World War Two. Dresden, the ancient and was attacked three times on Feb 13 and 14 -- twice by the RAF (Royal Air Force) and once by the USAAF (United States Army Air Force) in an operation involving well over 1,000 bombers. Today is the 65th anniversary of that excessive attack, some say that it was revenge for Germans attack of London. However, Jacques Pauwelsviews the attack as a warning and to indimidate to the Soviets because it was suspected that they would arrive in Dresdin in a few days.

@CapitanoGUC the german politicians should have re built germany after they took back the area taken away rhineland for the good of the german people but no they had to re arm and sabre rattle,they didnt learn anything from the 1st world war.they & the russians did join together a non aggression pact they even shit on them,the whole of europe deserved peace for centuries,the threat of communism saved your necks,the americans should have helped its allies post war instead of the germans and japs.

So that we had to pay immens reperation (the purpose was the economical distruction of succesfull germany) until you had famine in the middle of europe. So a radikal solution was needed. Imagein Germany would have chousen communism. - you would have to deal with german efficency combined with russian man power. - that would be shit, inít ???
