Dr. Uri Treisman was the keynote speaker at "Rethinking Developmental Math: an NCCCS Math Faculty Convening" held February 3, 2011 at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill, NC. More than 170 faculty from across the state participated in this one day event that kicked off the state's Developmental Education Initiative math redesign process.

Philip Uri Treisman is professor of mathematics, professor of public affairs, and executive director of the Charles A. Dana Center at the University of Texas at Austin.
