I feel like I'm the ignorant one here, like it doesn't occur to me that there are people out there who actually make fun of blind or deaf people. It seems so horrible for anyone to do.

Hey Coco, did you ever see CNIB commercials on TV where there are people making fun of a blind person with a cane, but that person can still see EXACTLY what they are doing, because he isn't 100% blind? People who think blind using canes can't see anything are VERY ignorant, because most people who are legally blind can still see some. Sigh, I agree I would have stuck cane through wheel spokes!

Man, that kid is an idiot! So many ignoramus's out there! There is a really dumb song out I just read about the lyrics recently, everyone calls it "the helen keller song" and one lyric says "be like hellen keller and talk with your hips" so dumb, no respect, kids don't know and half the time don't care. but everyone can be involved in education of them, gotta take every opportunity to educate when we can.
