Yeah . . a video is just plain easier to share out there, but if you like it, please take the mp3 for the unimposed upon audio...in it's "as created" form !

One of my Masher-pals over at BeatleRemixers Group, dj konrad useo, recently turned his attentions to another Fab Four . . . The Firesign Theater !,
and mashed them over Sigue Sigue Sputnik's "Love Missile F1-11".
I was resoundingly moved to follow thru on ideas of my own & place The Firesign Four in a setting or 2 myself !
Plus, they've only got a few thousand quotable phrases begging for inclusion !
( I use Konrad's favorite "more SUGAR !!" as a nod to him. )
The title phrase which loops us in & out is not only a re-edit, but it approximates a standout from my me and my brother JIm's "Skip-Tapes' from the early 80's.
Make the stylus-arm on an turntable a little lighter, and the needle gets caught in repeating riffs while also jumpin' around within the section.
Hence, the original phrase - "when you clock the human race with the stopwatch of history, it's a new record everytime" - became, and remains, "it's a New History"
So "The American Fab Four" are here mashed with Trombones Unlimited's "Manhattan Spiritual".
I am so deeply thrilled that one the Firesigners has already 'Liked' this. . .how can I not proudly share what he said on FaceBook ?
