2008 marks the 30th anniversary of DALLAS, one of the longest-running series in television history. Home to the Ewing clan was a real working ranch with spacious acreage and a majestic house that photographed well from every direction. This most recognized ranch became known to the world as Southfork, where the DALLAS legend continues today, offering tours of the mansion and grounds, along with a museum of memorabilia from the award-winning television show.

To celebrate 30 years of Ewing drama at Southfork, a reunion of the cast is set for November 8, 2008, right on the grounds where it all started. A real Texas BBQ will turn into a Ewing-style gala, where denim and diamonds will set the theme as the cast comes together once again to carry on the DALLAS legend.

  • if you look up BOX RANCH, PLANO TEXAS, it will bring up all the information about the Original shooting location it is a more Colonial ranch house, and in those Episodes there were 2 Guesthouses, one of which was JR and Sue Ellen's house, the other was Gary's House (unoccupied of course, because Gary was Estranged from the family at the time. Bobby, Lived in the main House in Episode one, because he was Single at the time that is, until he brings home his new bride Pam to meet his Family.

  • If anyone knows....the original Dallas mini series in 1978 featured a different Ewing mansion. They used that one for only 5 or 6 episodes. When Dallas came on as a regular series they used this mansion at Southfork. I've heard it explained in different variations but what's the real truth to it?

  • I only knew about the show because my mom was a big fan of the it when I was growing up. I use to live in Dallas and when she came to visit me, I took her there. She was so thrilled.
