just a proof of concept video.

the details: the parts are not meant to work with each other. the nelspot body has a plate on each side to weld the feed tube to the barrel. the grip frame was not made for that type of body and does not account for the added thickness of the welded plates. that was fixed after some slight sanding. next, the orracle 3-way was not made for that type of grip frame, and the rear barb had to be removed before it can fit on the grip frame, thanks to a protrusion on the grip frame. it wasn't fun putting the barb on afterwards! the trigger also couldn't trip any aftermarket upgrade bolts, so i had to use a stock nelson bolt because that was the only one that would work. lastly, the chameleon bolt anchor wasn't meant for that grip frame, and a powerdrill was used to make some holes so it would fit. now, as the video shows, everything now works. care has to be taken during tuning to ensure that not only does the sear trip before the ram moves, but also that the ram doesn't apply too much torque on the bolt to cause any kinking problems with the hammer. all that's left to make now is some kind of spring feed. this was a private game at the new camp pendleton field.

  • What camera are you using?

  • @187MuRdaCSS Hero HD. like $300 at best buy. hd editing for any hd footages seems to require a quad core computer or a mac though.

  • custom 90 degree elbow on the front and 50 rd hopper?

  • @James57127 i could, but i don't think i will. i am starting to love being able to use its iron sights, and any asymmetry might twist up my aim. so no center feed and no sidefeed for now. i'll probably just stick to 10 round tubes and figure out a way to load them quicker.

  • Looking good, I look forward to seeing it completed!

  • @technodog14 thanks. i can't wait either. :D
