My mum went to see Mama Cass at the London Palladium a week before she died. Then I lost my mum in '77. I always loved this song since the day it was released. The Paul Jones version was not a patch on this one!

I remember the day she died and my old Grandma now dead (God Bless Her Heart) told us that Cass had just died from choking on a ham sandwich! I was baffled to say the least.
