an actor prepares

T I M M A L O N E Y ... Shaktim ... The Hamlet of YouTube

'Who would fardels bare' was really the beginning of this take I think. Until then I don't think I achieved a connection. I am one actor making his way into celebrity with the dream of singing on Broadway. A strange route you say. Well, yes, but the way to success is not a one way street and the internet is an amazing tool to share my love for acting. I hope you enjoy and play my game called, "Skip around Hamlet" ... Check it out. My exploration of 365 TAKES of Hamlet's 'To Be or Not To Be', and featured in Seneca Productions' Christmas Documentary, 'To Be or Not To Be', hosted by Ian McKellen. I am one of the featured Hamlets. Its not too late to see it on Channel 4 Demand...

peace,
Shaktim

I feel very fortunate to have found my 'path with heart'.

  • I have to take back my original description about the monologue starting at 'who would fardels bear'... as I see how the build up brought me to the intensity of that moment... probably a shock for me... that take after take in these sessions were filled with rich thoughts.

  • But I continue, I try to play this monologue in diferent way and I think, I tryed with a exterior way, only making a question about some person and whith my head out in another place, and it was good too. This monologue ofer a lot of posibilitys. Sorry my English

and thank por you very very good English.

  • Hi, Shaktim. Interesting performance, with the emotion content lake L. Olivier, even it's I think, the state of mind of Hamlet in that moment
