i am actually going to write my econ paper about this topic thanks for this great video
but this video was in 2009.. in 2010 a few researchers published their papers on this topic refuting the idea that climate change has a linkage to civil wars. Can someone comment about this?

i agree. the trade policies of the eu simply made it impossible for african countries to keep up their own agriculture.

The agricultural sector of the African economy has one major enemy. Unfair agricultural trade policies from the EU. As well as lack of proper private property rights etc.
This guy is right though we should focus on adaptation rather then some hopeless attempt to stop it.

Maybe I should have re-worded that, so the more modest can follow: There were indeed, just a couple days ago, thousands of emails and documents hacked from the Hadley Climate Research Unit, a prominent source of climate science. Many of the emails talked about omitting, changing, and fabricating data points in order to mold the data to a predetermined conclusion. This is fact. I merely wonder how far the scandal goes, and how people will react.
