xbox 360 mod first stage of modding side window cut with dragon symbol with lights and fans to come

I thought it was time to carry out a few mods to my 360. After searching for a design to have on the side window I found a dragon that took my fancy so I saved the picture and resized to fit the side panel. I began by tracing from the screen of the laptop on to a piece of A4 paper and then cutting it out. I then drew in the stencil part on to the side of the xbox where I wanted to cut, this took quite a while as some parts were quite narrow I had to file the neck and tail. On the inside I trimmed the raised bits so the side window would fit flush against the case on the inside.

did you cut that metal with a dremal and do you need that metal piece

@MrNEFF209 yes i cut the metal piece with the dremal, cut quite easy. I suppose you could leave out half the metal but the mother board is mounted on the other half.

And just for a little info for you on the other side where the airbrush is to be placed you can fill in the "xbox 360" with bondo and sand down and will look like solid plastic hope this will help someone :)

I dont think we get Bondo in the Uk I used a car type filler once it was primed and painted you could'nt see where it was.

Hi I cut it so you could see the cd drive as this has a clear top and you can see the disc spinning. I dont think you will be able to pull it aside, you maybe able to remove it completely Ichose to cut it as I also go this from Ebay with the case.
