Airing of UNSOLVED MYSTERIES, March 8, 2011 on Lifetime
My aunt, Rita (McLaughlin) Klaus, born in Sioux City, Iowa but lives in Pennsylvania, suffered from MS for years - so much that she had to leave the convent she served as a nun. Her MS went into remission and she married, had 3 children and was a teacher.
Shortly after the 3rd child, her MS returned and eventually she was confined to a wheelchair. Years later, she experienced what can only be called a miracle, when she was able to stand and walk - and this was in 1986. I have personally seen my aunt since this happened, and you would never know that she suffered from MS for so long. The show aired March 8, 2011 on Lifetime and I just happened to be home from work with a sick child and saw it air on "Unsolved Mysteries"...for me...the fact that I just happened to see it air...is my miracle!
Part 3 details the healing for my Aunt Rita - nearly 25 years ago! Medically, it's not possible, yet the Catholic church doesn't recognize it as a miracle. You decide for yourself.
Be sure to watch Part 1 - Medjugorje and Part 2 - Rita
(I had to record this from my tv... with my camera! I couldn't wait to share it!)
I love UM, but I wish they would do more research on medical conditions before stating "it's hard to argue with them when they say they were healed by a miracle of faith".
Hope and faith are wonderful things, but we must be logical about them. That's all I'm saying lol

I hate to be the skeptic that takes away hope, but a common form of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is called "Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis".
According to wikipedia:
"The relapsing-remitting subtype is characterized by unpredictable relapses followed by periods of months to years of relative quiet (remission) with no new signs of disease activity. Deficits suffered during attacks may either resolve or leave sequelae, the latter being more common as a function of time."
