@Opinionatedjerk Whitney and Chaka did back up vocals for one another on each other's version of "I'm Every Woman" Her and Chaka Khan were very close. I don't believe she's always wanted to be Chaka, but Whitney may cite her as a musical influence. Whitney has her own style. She covers songs she likes and always does a phenominal job in my opinion. I don't think Whitney Houston wants to be or should be anyone other than who she already is, The Voice. Love you Whitney! :)

Great, another moron who quotes album sales as if sales equal talent or relevance to anything. By that way of thinking, we might as well say that Katy Perry's album was better than Michael Jackson's because it grossed more singles and that Avatar is the greatest movie of all time because it grossed more than all others. You and that "Did Nick Jonas write this song" person are made from the same cloth.

@OpinionatedJerk That's why Whitney's version of "I'm Every Woman" is the de facto version and Chaka was in the video looking as irrelevant as ever. Whitney's debut album has outsold Chaka's entire career, so I think we know who the REAL Queen is... Miss Whitney Elizabeth Houston, not some 70s R&B flop who's released 17 albums and only six of them have charted. #FAIL
