what an amazing voice. too bad shelley winters is no longer with us. she was such a wonderful actress. she had amazing presence. for such a small role on this show, she made it memorable. if you haven't seen her in "lolita" or "diary of anne frank", then you must!!

@bluestate69 Wow, I didn't realize she was in Lolita. I did see her in 'A Patch of Blue' and she was remarkable. You know it's sort of funny, when I was much younger watching Roseanne, I always wondered if she was in those older films (because of the quality of her voice). I'll definitely check out Anne Frank, thanks for the suggestion!

Holy Moley! I've always loved this series and I adore John Goodman! When I watched Bonnie sing for the 1st time my heart stopped a beat, I fell in love with her and the song. Back then we didn't have a computer so I never searched for her. Never forgot this moment and every once in a while I caught myself trying to sing it with such passion ;-) Thank God today I finally checked it out and here it is! So thank you for posting 'cause now I know more about this fabulous singer!

I remember this first time I ever saw this episode. Got to this part, and when Bonnie started to sing, I remember thinking, "Holy shit! What a voice!" My jaw just dropped, and stayed that way, until she finished the song. I was def surprised. : )

@leavingnormal88 yes, her voice is/was very distinct. pretty keen of you to pick up on that at a young age. however, that wonderful voice is very whiny in "lolita"(the part demands that). i think she won for best supporting actress in "patch of blue".
