The fourth of six tracks from the long forgotten SegaTunes line featuring Comix Zone! Released in 1996, these songs were preformed live by Roadkill based on music by Howard Drossin for the Genesis/MegaDrive smash hit. Uploaded to YouTube -and possibly the internet- for the first time are these hard-rockin' classics that any Sega fan can jam to!

  • I just downloaded these to a youtube to Ipod converter so I can always listen to them. Thanks mechatails! You're always in my debt.

  • You owe nothing to me, I'm flattered that you enjoy these. =] The real credit goes to Howard Drossin for the amazing music.

  • @GandalfJugon yeah, probably... i searched about them once, and the only thing i found was that they performed these songs live once. And the only one i have heard the name is the singer, Howard Drossin if i'm not mistaken

  • @gamer5007 In fact, I think this is not a real band, only some hired men to sing game's soundtrack

  • @gamer5007 Ohh thanks! Just wondering!

  • @Spartahunter9000 you got it wrong. this band's songs are the ones that were based on the game's soundtrack

  • FUCK YEAH MAN!!! DOWNLOADING FUCKING NOW!!

  • @zerosoma33 LOL, I was just thinking the same! I was suprised that the game's soundtrack was based off a 90's rock band. Who would of thought? I played this game on the PSP, so I didn't revieve any CD copy of these soundtracks. I heard people revieved them when purchasing this game years ago.

  • I missed the solo from the original MIDI song.

    '90s forever!

  • i am so pissed off right now! i loved the music on this game but i always borrowed it from a friend, i never knew it came with an ost cd if i did i would have got it myself

  • so this was on that free CD that came with the game? ok, well I have it again now and I can finally put that to rest. was it just the 6 tracks done by Roadkill, or was it the entire comix zone soundtrack?

  • @Utykik I agree with you 100% :D

  • I never could figure out if it was 'Joyride in the slamming hood' or 'draw a line in the smiling hood'. Given what the games about... I'm just going to assume the latter. :)

  • The game's sound is just as good as the game's gameplay and graphics.

  • @csvtom you did . this song was on a cd that u got free. i used to haveit and have been looking for this song for about nine months now. yay :D

  • This is so badass

  • merci

  • Howard Drossin is such a gifted genius that I owe so much to him in inspiring what I am today in life, Comix Zone undoubtedly one of best platformer I had ever played in my life, design and conceptually it is just a match made in heaven.

Thanks @mechatails for sharing this, this really put a smile back to my face, I remembered I was like 12 when I first played this game, ROCK ON HOWARD!

  • I love this song, both this version and the version in the game. <3 It's my favorite! :D

  • this makes me wish i could find my cd that i got with the megadrive version

  • Dude, was just playing this game and listened to the "jukebox". Even in 16-bit with all of the crappy midi, I could tell there was something different about the music... and I said, "wait a minute...this is $!@#ing grunge!!" And then I find out there's a whole soundtrack of this stuff? YEAHH!!! Flippin' sweet. '95 was the time, man.

  • @csvtom you shall find it! and rip em to PC and provide a download!! >: ( This is your quest!

  • Wow this shit is EXCELLENT

  • main singer is the producer game

  • I bought the pc version of this game back in the 90's and got this soundtrack too. if only i could find it :-(

  • yeah,my friend had that!same thing happened to his!
