Im all for activism, but some dont realise the implications of an entire generation of Brits going to university for 4 years and be in debt afterwards at about £25,000.
Mass Academia is over-rated, and creates lethargy out of dependance on institutions to EDUCATE. Who's going to keep the economy going, If everyones out spending 4 years in getting into debt on a Media Studies degree that any self taught low-wage outsourced/immigrant can do. NOT VIABLE!
Yes to Hikes, Yes to Entrepreneurs.

It never ceases to amaze me how many of you have had their opinions entirely influences by the media hype. The media can put whatever spin they want on a story to serve their purpose. If stories like this and ones before it were shown in a different light, you would all be saying how amazing the police are. You are all far too easily influenced without even realising it. The police have done everything according to policy and the law.

@gormacbudes Police are trained to deal with quite literally anything you throw at them. All you will do is leave yourself with even less dignity than before.

What a good idea!

Aaron Porter is a complete tool. That guy is totally right; he is 'irrelevant'.

@Fulcrum87 BS, they don't use machine guns in china on protestors. get a fukin clue.

retarded. you can go stage a protest in china find the difference between the 'kettling' and the 'machine-gun' approaches..when tell me about police oppression. if u still feel the need to throw stones at the ppl just doing their daily job (the police) when pls don't call them when u get robbed, raped and stabbed (or stabbed and then rapped...this can happen in any order)
Police serve the co-operate shills... they don't give a s**t for ordinary every day human beings.. they are there to serve the elite not us.... we are on our own.. but we have each other..

@Yedgarian
I phone the police regularly when patients attack my staff at the hospital where I work and have found them to be generally very nice. It's the public that scare me.
