Is this done as assembly or as a single part?

The Frame is a single part. In this part you can create a series of lines that represent the frame members. There is a SolidWorks Tutorial called "Weldments" for a simple table frame. Try this first and then watch the video again. It is helpful to place other construction geometry such as planes, axis, and sketches to locate the engine and suspension geometry in the frame part. It wont make a curve at all only straight sketches

@prosupra123 just radius the 2 lines at the meeting point in the sketch? I understand it can be difficult to constrain a 3d sketch though once you have added a radius. This is where you need to be savvy in how you layout your design in seperate sections/seperate weldment groups.

When I try to save my material profile I get this error: You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission. Would you like to save in the Mike Folder instead?

I am the administrator. This is my computer does anybody know what I need to do to get past this ? :(

ok sooooo you did it as one big part...now how do a get a blueprint for each induvidual tube or section????

I often have trouble using the trim/extend comand to get tight fitting joints that intersect at a tube bend (e.g. 5:56). I notice this tutorial does not use the "merge arc segment bodies" when creating the tube with the bend (at 5:56), evident by the fact that the tutorial creater was allowed to select just the bend portion of the tube. Is there a method to get consistent tight fitting joints by using the "merge arc segment bodies" option?
