Give the guy a break! He sure can sing and has great stage presence. I love Steve Perry and there is only one SP but for God's sake even Steve Perry will sound different now since he is 59 yrs. old! Believe me, this is the smartest move that Journey did. They want to appeal to the International market because let's face it , US is more on Hip Hop sound nowadays! And with a younger guy, he will appeal to the younger generation...smart move!

Steve Perry will always be remember as "the VOICE" of Journey. But let's accept the fact that he had left the group due to health problem. Arnel Pineda is now the "new voice" of Journey and with him as the lead singer he succeeds in resurrecting the band and make it stronger than ever. Clear proofs of this are the sold out concerts be it in South or Central America, Europe, North American and SouthEast Asia. Check their concert tour on here (You Tube) and you will see the unbelievable response.

I think this guy does a great job. I will attend Journey's concert tonight. On the other hand Im a huge fan of YES, and they have a singer found here in youtube since about 3 years ago, and that guy does a great job too. Lets face it, most of our all time vocal heroes does not have a great voice now, so it can be a good thing to find a guy who has been working all his life to get a close approach to thier own vocal heroes get to live the dream.and finally live the dream.
